ABOUT THE OWNER
Cody McFadyen is a well known entity in the Austin Pool building industry. He was one of the original founders of Cody Pools and, later, Oasis Pools. Having experience in a wide range of design and construction, Cody’s love for building pools has, once again, drawn him back into this industry. What makes WaterView Pools Different?
STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY
At WaterView Pools we go far beyond industry standards in our construction techniques and choices of materials.
We dig our swimming pools to commercial standards. We run the plumbing underneath the pool rather than around the pool – increasing water flow and decreasing cost of ownership. Because there are no pipes running in the regular gunite (a special cement mixture), the pool remains much stronger. Additionally, the underpool system eliminates elbow joints in the pipes, allowing better water flow and reducing cost to operate the pool.
Not only do we warranty the pool to not crack, our pools are warranted by the largest gunite company in the world to not crack. This is a lifetime transferable warranty pending inspection – at no additional cost to you the buyer.
When it comes to steel, we outdo the competition by using a four bar box beam around the perimeter. We also use schedule 60 grade steel instead of the typical schedule 40 grade. The longevity of your pool is best accomplished by using full thickness gunite and the best steel and plumbing.
A smaller pump and save you long term money. Our pools are carefully hydraulically balanced, meaning we match equipment exactly to the needs of the structure. Our pool decks are guaranteed for two years both workmanship and materials. Our standard plaster is a white aggregate plaster. Colors are also available. We offer an extended manufactures warranty – increasing the equipment warranty to 3 full years.
SUPERVISION AND COMMUNICATION
Not only does the superintendent inspect the swimming pool daily, the company owner inspects the swimming pool every week. You are kept informed as to what is happening and what to expect next and when.

BBQ grills are great accessories for any pool, and we can install and customize your new BBQ grill to the specifications that you desire.
CUSTOM POOL DECKS
Pool decks provide the environment for every pool, and serve a plethora of uses for any homeowner. They provide a barrier between the property and the pool, be it a lawn or a house. They protect your house from getting wet and the risk mold among other hazards. Pool decks provide a safe area to walk around that will help you maintain your balance and avoid injury when wet. Pool decks are also a great base for other things related to pool fun, like grilling out.
Most pool decks are made of concrete, coated with a slip resistant substance. A safe pool deck is crucial for ensuring full enjoyment of your pool. Fire-pits, small tropical gardens, and little beaches are features that can make your pool’s deck more than just a deck.
